If you head on over to Director Timo Vueorensola’s official website he has been keeping a journal of his filming activities during the movie with his first post dating back to November 22, 2020. Thankfully, it looks as though the director has been replaced and the franchise rebooted as to dissociate from the previous movies. Victoria Salva is now a convicted pedophile and after a number of on-set incidents the horror industry certainly remembers this franchise for all the wrong reasons. Sadly, Jeepers Creepers, a once brilliant movie franchise has been tarnished due to the man who created it, Victor Salva. I didn’t want to release any information until it became accessible and thankfully these little glimmers of info have appeared in the last few days. I reached out to Timo to comment but unfortunately didn’t get a reply. If that’s not The Creeper I don’t know what is!
I suspected that Timo was involved as his Instagram page has been posting a lot of horror-themed content since December and not to mention this little gem that all but confirmed that he was working on a Jeepers Creepers movie. This quashes a theory that I originally had that it could be a fan made film. Terry Bird will be producing the movie and Iron Sky director Timo Vuorensola is directing Jeepers Creepers Reborn as he looks to push the franchise in new directions and away from the previous director and all of the controversy that plagued the previous film.

This has been weeks of me searching ‘Jeepers Creepers’ on Google and waiting for the latest pages to update even a slither of information on the film and finally the patience has paid off and we have what looks to be a confirmed working title. That shred of evidence finally came today as a casting agency released a profile of a 1st AD by the name of Christiaan Faberij de Jonge and in their credits listing was the following: I’ve had my suspicions about the film taking place after a directors Instagram page had some crazy similarities to a certain creeper (see below) and a few murmurs and whispers went across the internet but as nothing had been confirmed I had no evidence to support my theory.
Originally an IMDB leak announcing Jeepers Creepers 4 that was quickly taken down, a script was already written and filming has been taking place in Louisiana and right here in the UK during the tail end of 2020. Please note the following has not been confirmed and this is just me doing some digging with content that is already available on the net. A Jeepers Creepers reboot looks to be in production as the working title Jeepers Creepers Reborn pops up online.
